A New Way to Visualize Music Lyrics Throughout the World.
Pop music changes so much throughout the years. Here, we created an innovative way to visualize how lyrics around the world have shifted over time. Our program examines the lyrics of the top ten charting songs of nine countries (including US, UK, and Korea) from 2010 to 2016. From the world map, you can update the year you wish to view. Then, select a country to switch to Word Cloud mode. The word cloud will show you the particular lyrics that stood out at the selected country and year!
